Sam Walton opened the first Wal-Mart store in 1962 in Rogers, Ark.
The company officially incorporated as Wal-Mart Stores Inc. on October 31, 1969
This Logo was used from 1962-1964. The Wal-Mart name was presented in just about every font style available to the printer.

It’s for the joy of battle, to be able to say “My opponent was talented and put up a good fight but I was the victor”.
Designers join design contest just for that reason it’s a chance to prove their skills against people from all over the world.
